Any advice on this one? Seems like he's got trips or maybe two pair. Do I call this?

There are only two hands that beat you here. You're ahead of a lot of other stuff. Easy all in.

That's what I thought. But would a sane person move all-in here with any of the hands that I beat?

KJ, K4, a flush draw, this is NL 50 we're talking about. Plus it's only 20$ more, you are getting good odds on the call. You have to get pretty deep to start folding sets and against two all ins at low limits.

Why do you assume a $50 NL Party player is sane with no reads?

I'd say the average Party player is doing this with KK, JJ, KJ, Axh, Kxh, AK, AA.

Many players will also push AQ, AT, QT, any flush draw, AJ, etc.

I think you are way ahead here most of the time.

Right. Obviously I lost the pot (or I wouldn't be posting the hand). He had a set of jacks. Just bad luck I guess

Losing money with set of set is really not a leak at lower limits. They'll pay you off 100% of the time when they have 44 and you have JJ. You can't only go all in with the nuts, it's a tough break.

A very sane person would sensibly move in here with, for example, A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], counting on the fold equity to make it a good play. I'd lose my stack here too.
