Default would anyone play this one differently?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls, Button calls, SB folds.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

The river is close between calling and 3-betting. Button played his hand like a 2, the only question is whether it's A2, 82, 32, 52, or some other 2. I think just calling here is OK.

Reads are absolutely necessary for proper river action. As is, you played it fine. With a read of LP-A, you could probably 3-bet.

Ouch, that's a frustrating one. I like how you played it, and I've got a question for the gurus: how would you have played if Villain capped the turn?

Had I been the villain I'd have capped the turn. I am gonna pay off pocket 8's, but will keep the raise button firmly pressed.

Had I been the hero, check/call the river to a turn cap.
