Default Oklahoma rooms near I-40

Hey. Travelling to Vegas via I-40. Any cardrooms
in OK near the Interstate that are OK? (LOL). Lets say
"worth stopping at."

Thanks in advance.

Lucky Star Casino is located near El Reno about 25 mins west of OKC along I-40. I've never been there myself but I'm pretty sure they have a card room. (Website dosen't say) Thats the only casino I know of but I'm sure there are more.

Depends on your definition of 'close'. Thuderbird is probably about 30-40 minutes from 40 in OKC if you went down 35 to highway 9 (20 minutes) and hwy 9 to thunderbird (10-20). It'd probably be faster to to go to Goldsby if that had poker (which I have no clue).

I don't believe Goldsby has poker yet. Lucky Star (a short drive north of 40 on OK-81 North, (I40 exit 125, i believe) has ~15 tables, and is moderately busy...no idea how the action is on a weekend night or anything...

When you cross the Arkansas/Oklahoma state line, you'll see an exit for Roland. There's a Cherokee Casino right there. You can see the neon from I-40. The games are soft, soft, soft.

They spread...
4/8 HE
1/2 NLHE, Max $100 on the table
5/10 NLHE, Minimum $100 buy-in (usually $500-1,000 in front of each player)
Stud and Omaha are sketchy at best

The Thunderbird Wild Wild West Casino is 15 minutes south of I40 on Peebly Rd. (Exit is about 10 miles east of where I40 crosses I35)
The Lucky Star Casino in El Reno is about 15 minutes off of I40 just past Mustang, which is about 15 miles West of where I40 crosses I35.

If you play no limit, the T-bird has $1/$2 $100 buy in, $2/$5 $500 buy in and $5/$10 unlimited buy in. They have $3/$6 limit and some kind of $3/$6/$12 spread limit game.

They have $3/$6 and $4/$8 limit at The Lucky Star, $1/$2NL and $2/$5NL.
