Magic Eye Pictures
why are these so cool? I don't know, they just are:
Stare at image, blur your eyes, see hidden image... Some say that it helps to start with your eyes close to the screen and slowly move backward without refocusing your eyes. |

It's a little easier on a computer screen than on paper. Try to focus on something 10-20 feet behind you through the reflection of your screen (you need proper lighting to get a good glare), and the 3D image should slowly come into focus. Either that or you will drive yourself insane and smash your computer. Sometimes you'll get an inverted 3D image if you're not properly focused.

I was always under the impression it wouldn't work on a monitor. It seemed like it took a bit longer to come into focus, but they are certainly visible.
