9Js Big Blind Hand

SB is 24/6/3.4 over 99 hands. Button is probably a 2+2er 19/16/2.4
I am finding it difficult to play these type of hands from the blinds. Rate my play on every street..

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (6 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero ..??

id bet the turn and make button pay if he's drawing w/ overcard. you need to bet that river, would you honestly check in hopes of a c/r on this river or was it a c/c due to the potential straight?

Doing anything but raising the flop is very very bad.

You have the best hand most of the time and don't want to be giving cheap cards.

Raise the flop, this cleans up this disaster and makes the play much more self explainatory instead of letting the play play you....

you MUST bet this flop. Protect your hand! Button will most likely fold unless he has a straight draw.
Bet the turn.
River depends on if button is still in the hand. If he is, he probably made his straight and you can bet-fold.

If button folds the flop I take this to showdown 100% of the time against SB.

Raise the flop so the PFR folds his overs. Bet the turn. Be the river. Raising this flop makes all the difference in how easy the later streets become.
