Yuck. I think betting the pot was a semi bluff. Turns out his raise was a retarded semi bluff, but oh well, it worked for him.

Re: low suited hands early on: i\'m losing
Fantastic... UTG and then calling a raise... I think i've seen enough.. conclusion is, like Mantis sorta said, there is nothing wrong with playing these hands IF YOU KNOW HOW. And it's very easy to know how.

Conclusion: Low suited hands early on
Let me reiterate. I have read on these boards that you should only play big starting hands in the early rounds. The very nice FAQ posted last week says it "costs to much" to play little hands. In looking at my own hand history, yes, I have verified it "costs to much" when I play these hands like a retard. But I say, playing these hands in late position with a multiway (say, 2 or 3 people already in) can give you a big win for a small risk. So i'm going to continue to play these hands-- in position, and correctly.

Re: Next up: Kxs in the early rounds
This is OK. For effect. Big stack, mixin it up a bit in the early rounds. Sort of ruined by the flop.
