I have a little text file that tells me what pot odds i need to call when i have a certain number of outs...

for outs, I use this chart. The rest I do in my head, I maybe refer to it avery 50 hands or so...

Seriously, if you can't do this on the fly, then perhaps you shouldn't be multi-tabling.

You'd be surprised how bad most people are at math. I'm teaching HS math now and half my students don't know that 1 1/2 = 3/2, 1/2 = 0.5, etc. I'm talking about 16-17 year olds here. I think the reason it's like this is that people are given calculators to solve problems before they actually understand the fundamentals.

It has been said in this thread already but should be repeated... if you cant figure out odds on the fly you shouldnt be multi-tabling.

Do you bust out the cards and teach them math through poker examples? That would be kinda cool. Altho Im sure the PTA or whoever would throw a little hissy fit, heh.

I'm thinking about busting out the dice (and maybe cards) when we get into probability, for sure.
