Default Flopped 2 Pair, Bad Underbet?

Stars 3-table 5+.50

Villain is extremely aggressive. I had been quiet for a while, and the table had gone tight; so I decided to try a blind steal. When I flopped the "monster", I was thinking double-up. Should the flop bet be bigger?

You should bet more pre flop otherwise you aren't going to be stealing anything as the BB will call with any two cards. Otherwise it looked OK.

generally i think your flop bet was okay, but when I have 2 small pair, I usually like to bet much more than 1/2 the pot (you bet 1,000 into an 1,800 pot). The reason for this, is that it is too easy for your hand to be counterfeited. Say the villain does have top pair here with the K and another pair hits the board, he now has 2 higher pair. If he has KQ in this situation, same deal. Does a KQ lay down top pair here? You raised preflop, if your bet is strong enough, he may lay down KQ, putting you on AK or better. All in all, can't really fault your play here at all, especially from a 3 table sitngo (this is SNG right). Just pointing out that a small 2 pair is not a really great hand. Smallish bets gives any drawing hands proper odds to call (remember there were 2 diamonds on the board) and decent pairs like JJ, TT, 99 can counterfeit you hand just as well if the board pairs the K or 5.
