Good point k, but actually, I really wasn't even thinking about that, at least not consciously, when I played the hand or reviewed it. UTG looks Fishy, 44/0 after 18 hands. I didn't put that in the OP, but I went back and added it just now.

Im a bit LAG preF short but I don't like you limp. If UTG is fishy raising isolates and potentail knocks out SB preF.
If UTG was a good player maybe I call, but what kind of good player limps UTG.

Your kicker doesn't play, which weakens your hand even more. That combined with the fact that you're overcalling (even if you're overcalling a fish, your hand isn't too strong) make me chuck this.

I don't understand why so many people are fearing an overcall. We are chopping or have the overcaller beat 95% of the time. A T is raising the river 100% of the time. The other 5% is when they catch a raggy 2 pair against us.

I didn't think the overcaller was a big factor in this hand. Maybe I should have given more weight to that, but I just felt like he was playing like a calling station.

The crux of the matter it seemed to me was that SB bet out on the river. He correctly surmised that I would have checked this river through even though I had bet every other street.

I folded the river to one bet even though I was getting 9:1 to call. It was a good fold. SB had QJ and made two pair on the river.

with 2 pair I'd call this down I don't think we're good offten enough here with a "in line" player waking up on this river and a call which isn't big given the caller but still means we have to beat 2 hands
