how would you play this OESD?
Late player calls, I call with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the button, both blinds call
Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4 players, 4 SB SB checks, BB bets, late player calls I should ?? (my comments in white font below) I have 6:1, but for a 4.75:1 draw, I lose to any Q if a J comes, split with any 7. I face a bettor, a caller, and one more to act. The ace may buy me 3 more outs, but I have a weak kicker. (Still there was no strong ace before the flop.) I want to say this overcall is a fold, but I have some newbie doubt. |

I see no shame in folding.

Re: how would you play this OESD?
Lets see. J is worth very little and your other 4 outs should be discounted aswell. Your Ace is worth something like 1 out and you have no BD flushdraw. You're getting 6:1 so I'd fold.
I'd also raise PF to knock out the blinds and take control of the hand. |

Fold. That's about the most worthless OESD ever. If someone told me you were drawing dead it wouldn't surprise me.
