Default AQ flops Q then turns A -- advice please

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Notes: about 8th hand at table.. UTG hasn't raised preflop since I've been there. Don't know anything about villain.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP3 posts a blind of $1.
UTG raises, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 (poster) calls, CO folds, Button (Villian) calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP3 calls, Villian raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG caps, MP1 folds, MP3 folds, Villian calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (12.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, Villian raises, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (18.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, Villian bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 21.25 BB

Should I play more agressive with the top 2 pair? I feared he had a set and was just milking me.

Advice appreciated

3-bet the turn, check/call the river if it gets capped. Villain may have a set, but I think more often you're ahead of a worse 2 pair.

Head's up, I agree with you. However, in this case, I think it depends on the read of UTG.

UTG looks like he has KK that just went into call down mode. Not too much else makes sense for him. (Unless he is *really* weak and has QQ fearing someone else has AA) Will UTG fold rather than calling 2 on the turn? If so, I prefer to smooth call the turn and stop-n-go bet/call the river. You loose the same when you are behind, but make way more when you are ahead because you keep UTG around.
