omg... another flaw i have [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

luckily computers compensate.

on 2nd try, ctrl-f for find, then type in the letter F, and i found 6 [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I only found 3. It's interesting how our brains filter out "unimportant data." Taking articles out of sentences (i.e. "the" and "a") makes the sentence just as understandable. I suppose that's why some languages don't have these types of words. Then again, other languages have long-ass words to compensate.

I think the fact that "of" is pronounced "ov" also helps...Most people read it phonetically in their mind and just "listen" for the obvious F's.

this is exactly right. that is what is meant by the statement that the brain cannot process it. even when you stare at it visually, the brain is ignoring it because of the "ov" effect.
