bump.

What I'm wanting to know is what hands are you guys willing to go to the felt with pre-flop when the blinds are at different levels. Both betting and calling.

Any scientific or non-scientific results appreciated.

This question is entirely situation-specific. Firstly, you haven't specified if it's ring or tournament. If it's a tournament, payout structures and other information is needed.

Additionally, other information is still required. Did the player push in immediately, or was there a reraise? From what position? etc etc etc

I'm afraid your question can't be answered with the given information.

Both questions are for cash games.

On the call question, one opponent has raised all-in with a small stack. Assume no one else will call if you call. What will call with?

Beyond this you can provide your own assumptions.

Ok, I'll assume this is a typical "hit and run" artist that seems to be prevalent in the lower level NL games. People that buyin for the absolute minimum and immediately push, usually if there are a few limpers.

Let's assume that this player and you are both not in the blinds, and that the player pushes for 10x BB in front of you. Let's also assume that he's only recently joined the table, and that I think he may be a 'hit and run' artist.

In this spot, I'd call with mid pocket pair (probably 88+) and AK, AQ. The extra money in the blinds will add some equity.

Calling with AJ wouldn't be too terrible, but AT would be pushing it.

Just my opinions. Hope they can help slightly.
