I was wondering why you bother to keep mining as much as it seems like you do if you have 30K hands on someone as at some point the extra hands must stop adding much info and will probably slow your db, not whether he has the right 10 players or not.

Bongineer is ok. He used to always be at my table. Now, I never see him. Maybe it's the fact that I've laid the wood to his arse

Bongineer is one of the better players in this game. He changed his name, and also plays higher now most of the time. "laid the wood to his arse"? Doubtful.

sorry, I don't like reading so I tend to stop reading peoples' posts when I think I know what they're saying. ADD sorry.

I'm not mining the same people over and over. there are constnatly new people coming in. I've started mining 20/40 and 15/30 lately and there's a noticeable increase in players that sit down who I have no reads on. a lot of the guys you want at your table are the types that put in a few hundred or thousand, play a lot for a week, and lose it.

I use my database, which is 110k, I use my two 10/20 6m databases, which are 700k hands each (2 GB), two 5/10 dbs which are half that, and it works fine for up to 6 tables. at 8 it starts crapping out. it also started crapping out cause of all the porn and music and whatnot a few months ago so I reformatted and it's been good since.

it's a P4 3.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 7200 RPM HDD. I got it back in January. it's a dimension 4700

I wonder if all the people on here changed their names and locations what these posts would end up like.

I have it on good authority that Brown Eyes wins lots in this game [and has for many many months] though I personally have no opinion worth speaking on his actual play.

Two interesting players imo are incog66 and LuckyMfcker.

[/ QUOTE ]

incog66 is one of the most fascinating players I have ever seen. The only player on Party I would ever say has shown signs of absolute poker brilliance, but in the same breath I have seen him drop $1800 in 10 minutes at 15/30 6-max.
