Default Re: NCAAF: UCLA +21.5

Will USC take out starters if they're ahead by a few touchdowns towards the end of the game, or only if they're destroying UCLA?

early wagering has taken the points so far. line moved to +21 and Bodog is still shading down. I took +21.5-105 and now hoping for a good middle to cover later in the week.

Bruins have not faced a ranked opponent all year. they obviously can score but defense is mediocre at best, especially against the run. with the exception of the Arizona game, UCLA should be able to hit 4 touchdowns, which means that the trojans will have to make 7, and STILL might not cover.

this game was close last year, and UCLA has improved a lot more percentagewise than USC. I do question the Bruins' heart compared to teams like Notre Dame and Fresno State, but 3 TD's in a rivalry game is a LOT. +21.5 is a playable value no matter how you slice it.
