Call down with A-high?
BB is TAG, so I suppose it's possible he's being over-zealous in his blind defense.

Re: Call down with A-high?
I usually call this down. Depends a little on how the TAGs been acting.

Re: Call down with A-high?
the 6 is a bad card for you but i would take this hand to the showdown. folding a strong ace high on this board is too exploitable for a tag as he would be correct in raising any 2 cards on this flop which often times alot of tags do.

It sucks calling down with A-high, but it sucks worse folding to KJ or something. I think you have to pick your spots. Against an average player, or a weak player, a passive player, you can fold it. It just depends on whether or not you think that TAG is capable of making a move. |

Re: Call down with A-high?
That's a tough one, I often call down but the 6 is such a bad card -- every single flop semibluff in the world just hit a pair or a straight -- I'd probably find a fold.

Re: Call down with A-high?
It is opponent dependent. However, if he hasnt been defending, most a-x have you beat or have a decent draw, and all pocket pairs have you beat. There aren't that many hands you can beat, and he's shown strength. Your ace is not strong enough to show down IMO.
