Default Huge overbet with the nuts (into a nothing pot).

Pre-flop:

tigercub200 folds.
sizzle7 calls.
dadaboypops folds.
celtic66 calls.
Bohunkk folds.
mplsCorwin folds.
pokersavant (Hero) checks. (5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img])

Flop (board: 8s 4h Kh):

pokersavant checks. sizzle7 checks. celtic66 checks.

Turn (board: 8s 4h Kh 2d):

pokersavant checks. sizzle7 checks. celtic66 checks.

River (board: 8s 4h Kh 2d 7c):

pokersavant goes all-in for $119 . sizzle7 folds. celtic66 folds. pokersavant is returned $119(uncalled). pokersavant wins $7

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]celtic66 almost ran out of time thinking if he should call or not, I wonder if I got more calling equity by looking like a complete idiot by overbetting the pot by $113?

No reason other than I had been running well up to that point, getting good cards, while not really having to show down anything other than the only time I bluffed and got caught.

He probably rivered 777 but your overbet was obviously the nuts, so he folded.

Your hand is nicely disguised, since no one liked the flop, I doubt they liked the turn. The pot is tiny, I would consider a small bet on the turn to build up a nice pot if I hit.

I know this is not an optimal line and you will have to fold if anyone wakes up, but hitting a nut draw in a small pot sucks, so I think a small (one you call with your draw anyway) bet is not a terrible play once in a while.

As played, pot the river, pray for a raise so you can puuuush it in.
