Default scared of a lucky dood?

so i always see this guy in casino, he sucks at holdem but he is very lucky. he basically yells every other hand "OMG I HIT 2 PAIRS", or some monsters. he doesnt juss claim that he is lucky, HE IS. he hits every single time when hes on a draw, or draw out on people who has him dominated.

but, i guess because he hits all the time, so it kind of scares me when i m in a hand with him, because he always hit.

so i m thinking, should i start claiming that i m very lucky too? so i can scare other players and pick up more pots?

what do u guys think?

I think if you play good TAG poker you'll drag many more pots in the long run than some guy who is "lucky" but plays poorly.

okay i m not saying that i play differently against him, i did make the correct decisions according to the situation. but i noticed that more people fold to his weak bets than usual, and it is simply because everytime he flips over his cards he has a monster and he flips them over everytime he is in a hand. so he actaully scared people from being lucky and claiming that he is lucky. i m not saying i m jealous. i m juss wondering IF i do that i can pick up more pots.

mike caro acts weird in the card rooms too so people would treat him differently. i m thinking of the samething and i m wondering if you guys think the same way.

because no matter what, you know it, if there is a flush draw on a board and u have two pairs, you would more likely fold to a person who has been lucky the whole day than to someone who lost 10 pocket aces in the row.

Claiming to be "lucky" will only scare the bad players. And only the dumb ones. The good players will roll their eyes at you and peg you as a fish because they know that there's no such thing as luck.

I play against these kind of players all the time. They are easy to beat. If you are playing solid poker you dont need to change a thing, except bet more into them.

"Lucky" players have some deadly flaws...

1) They will call raises and large bets with weak hands because "they know they will hit".

2) They will go to the felt with a weaker hand because they feel they are "lucky" and hit the flop for two pair or the like against a made hand.

"Unlucky" players get stacked by them because...

1) They lack hand reading skills. If you can not put a player on a small range of hands, you need to not be playing against that player until you can.

2) They get married to their "big" starting hands and over play them for all their stack. At the end of the hand a pair only beats a high card...

In live games while I might SAY I'm afraid of the suckout king luckbox at the other end of the table, and even in hands with him I might openly pretend to be anxious/scared that I am going up against someone with such an incredible talent at drawing out, I am only saying these things because:
A. I want to fit in with the supersticious donkeys
B. I want him to think that he can always represent a hand against me and try to make moves at pots even when his draws don't come in.
And finally C. since for my lifetime I am 24% at hitting flushes when I flop a 4 flush, I enjoy living dangerously and beating a lifetime 72% flush draw puller
