Default Consider folding QQ pre-flop?

UTG has only played one hand up to this point where he called a min raise and then took down the pot on the flop. This is his first pre-flop raise in 15 hands.

I was very suspicious of his min-raise UTG, but even more suspicious of his almost min re-raise. Is this a case for folding queens? The blinds are small and I have room for patience.

Villian makes a raise that begs you to call while pot committing himself. Sure smells like aces, but could be JJ+ or AKs. Your not in good shape against that range. Let it go.

I think you need to call this bet. There is 45 in blinds, 60 first bet, 200 your raise, and 365 in raise in pot for 670. (Feel free to check my math here) 225 to call. That's almost 3-1. You are a 4-1 favorite over a lower pocket pair, a 4-1 dog against higher pocket pair, and 6-5 favorite on over cards.

I think I call and see a flop.

Quick pokerstove analysis:
Give opponent range of AKs, AKo, AA, KK, QQ, or JJ. You are only a 47% underdog.

I don't think you can call. Pokerstove is only relavent if you are going to see all five cards. If the flop is undercards you are in the same situation you were before the flop. If an A or K hit your in worse shape. So, basically your calling for set value and it's not there.

I think KK and QQ are world's apart here. You can consider folding QQ here (although I very well might not). KK would be a push, easy, IMO.

This is a pretty narrow hand range for this situation. For the standard $33er, it's probably JJ+, AK+ (And the random AQs). For anybody you deem tight, it's KK+. If villain had pushed, rather than just raise, it increases the hand range IMO.

Calling may be the worse decision here, either Push (expecting to be called) or fold. Calling this, you can pretty much expect villian to bet out (mostlikely push) any flop.
