he was the one pushing =/

incidentally, on this board i think a push is probably fine. you could value call your (2nd) nuts, but this board has some potential draws out there that i'd like to charge. its just too bad he didnt have any of them =)

dude.

villain didnt push in this hand. Hero did.

the question isn't wether to fold, its wether a smaller raise or a flat call would be better.

Are you saying the fold is fine? I expect to win 95% of the time in this scenario. If he shows JJ, I say nh and move on. It just makes no sense to fold here. He might as well fold it pre-flop if he can't call an all-in when he hits trips.

Is this a joke?

I think I call this on the flop.

If Villain has QQ-AA he will surely bet on the turn if we just call, and we are likely doubling up no matter how we play this on the flop.

If Villain is C-betting or semi-bluffing with overcards/flush draw, he might fire again if a blank hits the turn, thinking we might be on a draw as well. If we go all-in on the flop he likely folds without an overpair, so I like calling.

If villain's not likely to have a draw here (which depends on his preflop min-raising standards), I like a call here. Otherwise, I push.
