The only hand I saw him play was, He limped UTG+1, BB raised 2xBB and then he went all in. 88 vs AQo, he floped a set. |

Re: My bustout hand
Raise more pre-flop, mini-raise does absolutely nothing. Or, alternatively, call.

Re: My bustout hand
Is going all in preflop a mistake here? I have something more than 10xBB. I guess I could still see some hands?

Re: My bustout hand
In general, a UTG limp at this stage of a tourney should send up a red flag for you. I hate the min-raise pre-flop. I agree with taking a stab on the flop but you have no choice but to fold to the re-raise.

Re: My bustout hand
With your stack, I either fold preflop or push preflop. You don't want callers who get to see a flop against such a vulnerable hand.

Re: My bustout hand
I agree. Going all-in would have been better pre-flop, but I would fold here. You have an UTG limper, which could mean trouble, so just wait for a better spot. You have enough chips to last a while, make a move when it's less risky or when you have a monster.

Re: My bustout hand
I still suck at tournaments.
I can't get rid of a hand. I always think my opponents are bluffing me out of pots and I'm making a "good read" call or something . |

Re: My bustout hand
That's fine. As long as you plug those leaks before you get to bigger tourneys, you'll be ok.
I'm relatively new to tourneys as well, but I've learned something very important: DO NOT freak out when your chips get low. Be patient and pick your spots well when making moves. 77 is not so hot when you aren't first in the pot, especially against an UTG limper. |

you don't mention WHY you called here.

Re: My bustout hand
Well I just saw him limping and then going all in preflop in the previous hand which was an awkward move. So one thing I might assume is he is not a really good player. He was all in and he won a huge pot. I tought that he might think he was on a roll and that maybe if he check/raised me all in he would have made me fold the best hand. Or maybe he had overcards. I'm not really sure. I clicked time bank to give me some time to convince my self why should I go all in. Villain had QTo btw
