Default I think I made the right play here..

1st hand of MTT

Blinds 25-50

I get j [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the SB, everyone calls the BB, I complete, BB checks.

Flop Comes 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet 100, and get 3 callers.

turn comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check hoping to c/r (1 of the callers is very agressive) sure enough LAG (not villain) bets 1/2 pot which is called by villian.

Action to me - I c/r push

I would have bet more on the flop so flush/straight draws would't have odds to call.

What was the starting stack size?

3500. I thought about potting the flop, but w/ the paired flop, I was afraid of no action.

Villain ended up w/ 43 for the boat.

Hope it was a rebuy ;-) Pretty unfortunate about the case 3 being held.

You were beat on the flop and drawing to 9 outs. Was their anything that would have made you fold? I don't thing so.

Thanks, that's what I thought. The only thing I question is not fast playing it. Perhaps if I had bet 3/4 pot on the flop, instead of just calling villain might have been tempted push me all-in assuming I would call since pot commited, and maybe I would have folded to strength, but, admittedly, I'm probably not laying it down, even if I think I'm beat.
