Default Opposite of Seeing Monsters Under the Bed

As of late, I have had trouble laying down hands after a scary river card hits, especially if I have committed a significant portion of my stack to the pot. In the past, I was probably guilty of too much fear, but I have now swung the other way and it has proven to be very unhealthy to my stack. I have included a couple of hands below as examples.

What can I do to stop making these calls?

Thanks.

hand 1
i reraise all in on the flop if he has a set goodluck to him

hand 2
its quite possible he has an ace and is using the scare card to get you to lay down the best hand. also if he has a flush draw i cant see him calling 350 on the turn with the both of you only having 500 behind, its just not worth it. unless he paired the ten as well.
so i'm going broke here also

Hand 1 - raise more pf, re-raise A LOT (3 to 4 times his bet) on the flop.

Hand 2 - Raise 3-4xBB pf or fold. Horrible EP limping hand for all the reasons that came to pass in your post.

Hand #1: I'm reraising the pot or larger when he raises your flop bet. Might even push.

Hand #2: If the guy is gonna call a pot-sized bet with one card to go and a Flush draw, so be it. He could even have A9 and be real excited over his 2 pair. I'm calling here.

Hand #1: My line was quite a departure from my normal play with AA in this scenario.

Hand #2: I am glad to hear that my call was not crazy. I didn't like seeing the spade, but I also thought he could be overplaying an ace or lower two pair.
