The Mayo Clinic

In all fairness, isn't that like one of the top 3 hospitals in the US?

If you follow the link, the article is about a clinic in Cleveland.

I rest my case.

[/ QUOTE ]

If it is the "Cleveland Clinic" it is ranked 4th in the nation. Mayo Clinic is 2.

I agree, the health-care does suck in Canada. Its mostly because half of our doctors have migrated to the US to take advantage of all the price gouging going on there in the medical field.

I like it here just because of the cold weather, I love winter. I like little else here though so I can't wait until I leave after school.

Please leave and take the rest of that [censored] hole that is Toronto with you. Absolutely the worst part of Canada. Yes, even worse than Quebec.

It is time for the bloc de West party to go off on our own, Manitoba and everything West of it.

Well, that's fine. If they ever do better they should let us in.

Now, I have to leave for Mexico to get some Vicodin.

I definately wouldn't say it sucks. I think its in the right path, just too inefficient as it is.

American hospitals are for Americans.

[/ QUOTE ]

Likewise, Canadian drugs are for Canadians.

Actually, we should extend that to water, electricity, and petroleum products too.

Health care sucks in America too, just you Canadians don't get jealous or anything.

I'm lucky to have excellent medical coverage to accompany a rather serious chronic condition. The nature of the condition is such, however, that if I wasn't insured up the yazoo, by a lucky chance of my current vocation, there would be very few, read no, ways for me to afford treatment. I would just slowly die, until I was close enough to death to take advantage of emergency medical services, too late, for an entirely treatable condition.

I sometimes feel that the US has a 'Tyler Durden'-esque relationship with Canada
