Default Vegas After Christmas

The wife and I are heading up to Vegas on the 26th to catch Seinfeld at Ceasars. I'm wondering what the place is going to be like, I've heard it's totally dead, which doesn't bother me, but at the same time I don't want to be playing poker with a bunch of locals.

Anyone ever been there right after Santa's birthday?

The town is still relatively dead on the 26th, but don't hang around too long... because 4-5 days later is the craziest time of year for this great town.

Vegas actually has its most dead, and most busy time of year within the same week.

That's because people return all the crap they dont want to the stores for $ from the ones that will give it up and then come out here to blow it during New Years.

I think Vegas makes out from the Christmas /shopping season better than the retailers.

We're leaving on the 28th. I'd love to stick around for CES, but it's too expensive.
