Default Top 2 vs Overpair

My kings just ran into aces, and i folded preflop, so I am a little pissed off.
I have about $10k
BB has about $4k
Raiser has about $8k
(Raiser is an rich old country club kinda guy, plays a lotta golf and poker for fun, dosen't care about money at all. He is the kinda guy who if you want you can bluff easily, and if u want, u can get to call easily. Will make a small pf raise with any 2 and says "its to get more money in the pot" I have made him laydown a few hands before where he was waaay ahead. The ideal opponent according to me.)
Next hand I see on the button is 4h7h.
MP with about $8k in front of him raises to 40.
I call like the tilting idiot i am ,BB calls as well.
3 to the flop Flop is 4 7 2 rainbow. Miracle flop right?
BB checks. Raiser bets $500, (thats how he plays overpairs...dosent want any action after flop).
I raise to $2k(Comments about this raise?).BB folds. Raiser calls.
Turn is Kh(still rainbow)
He bets $3k. My action?
Please no comments about the pf call. Probably the worst call ive ever made.

The flop raise is good.

Boy, a tough turn decision.

Does he ever bluff?

bet exactly as much as he will call with a pair and exactly as much as he will fold a set of kings to

since you can get him to do anything you want that is

I have seen him bluff, but the thing is, he may not think he is bluffing. He might actually think i have a hand such as QQ or something and it is quite possible he has AA. I dont think under any circumstances can he think i have 47s. I also dont think he would think I have a set of 7's. The only hands i think he puts me on is AK QQ JJ or maybe TT . I dont think he would put me on kings because I did'nt reraise pf.

if you've seem him check-raise big hands more than once, put him all-in. if not, fold cause i'm pretty sure you lost to k-7 or kings from the last statement on your post.

K-7? i assume you're kidding .
I figured he would check raise with a set of kings so i put him on AA and pushed. He called and flipped over JJ!!
River was kind and no Jack or King or Deuce showed up and i won.
Comments?

The only thing I don't understand is why you're ranting so much about preflop.
