Ketteringham Doubles Up On Blanda
Log: On what must have been a bluff, Mark Ketteringham goes all-in preflop for his entire $120,000. Blanda quickly calls and shows his pocket Queens. Ketteringham shows K-8 offsuit. Unfortunately for Blanda, a King flops and no Queens show up. This beat leaves Blanda with only $15,000 in chips.

Yeah, he just got home. He played great, I think he got tired at the end, but nothing you can do about a gutter. He is a big believer in working out, but injury has made him cut back. I am making it as a pro and I owe a lot to him, importance of exercise, sleep, being sharp.

Mark has won the Bellgio $1000 Weekly tournie several times, including FIRST place share three out of five times this January. He won a decent sized event at Hustler WPT last year. More important he (and my dad) are the most honest guys you can meet.

Tough break. I'm glad that he was able to do well and get his money in as a favorite. Good luck to both of you in the future.

I just want to say that your buddy played very well. About 4-5 hours earlier, it was 2500-5000, he was BB. Seidel (SB) calls, and your buddy checks. I see that he has 24o. Both at about 120k in chips. Flop comes K82, Seidel bets 5k, he comes back with 15k total. Seidel calls. Turn is a 5, Seidel checks quickly, your buddy raises 25k, Seidel takes out the chips to call, but folds. Good stuff.

The last hand played out very strangely. I'm sure you've read/heard about it. That guy was seriously considering folding. Your bud just didn't have enough chips to push him out.
