Default Re: ITM FTP $11 - 4 flush on flop

If villain has been limping a lot and seems pretty loose overall, then a RR pf is definitely in order, mainly because of your postflop postion and your relative hand strength. IOW, you stand to have the better hand now, but OOP on a flop with A7 can be tricky.

As far as the flop I like the CR as well. Villain could be doing this with nothing, a lone h drawing to a loser, some sort of pair K or other where you arent that far behind if at all...But given the stack depth and slow increasing blinds at FTP (?right?) you might find yourself a better spot against such agro flop players.

hope this helps...if you need any GT advice feel free to post here as well.

Thanks pal. This would be like Tiger Woods asking David Duval for help today.

As for the hand itself, I did end up calling, which I think was a good move, I had the A high flush draw, + an overcard. Or so I though. Villian turned over AA. After doing a little math, and using the odds calc, I was still 35-65 (1.85:1) to win the hand, and was getting 2.53:1 to call.
