HERO ?

Its 280 to call. BBforever hasn't been a maniac. But at the $10+1's they will make this move with alot of hands. Especially any Ace. I made the call. Felt I had to with the amount of money already in the pot. Any comments. Is just pushing pre-flop in these situations better?

For hand 1 I don't really like the all-in overbet, as it doesn't really accomplish anything that betting 100-150 wouldn't do. If either of the big stacks paired the Q, no amount that you bet will push them of their hand. If the Q didn't help them, you are likely ahead and don't mind a call.

Hand 2 is fine, I don't see how you can fold for 280 more here. You are getting over 2:1, and your AJ is very likely ahead of the villians range here since this is a 10+1.

Edit: I would not push preflop in either of these situations.
