Default limit holdem hand question please advise

.50/1 game on party

i posted in late posiion and got 2-7 off suit

on limper in front, i check, 2 more limpers behind,, sb folds bb checks

flop is A-2-7 rainbow

BB bets out,,, first limper folds,,, i raise,, the other limpers fold and the BB calls

turn is an 8

BB checks, i bet,, and he raises me.

whats the right play here? do you fold? or do you call,,, then call again on the river unless an ace or an 8 hits?

This is very read-dependent. Do you have any idea how your opponent plays?

You are getting a little under 4-1 on a call-down, and don't have much of a chance of improving. Your opponent, if behind, probably has 9 outs against you (if he has a hand like AJ) or something. I think against an unknown folding is fine here in what isn't that big a pot.
