I probably bet $30 on the flop, and push a raise.

If betting 30, any raise basically puts him all in. Id be more inclined to put 35 on flop and rest on turn.

How's about going for the check raise all-in here? We're not afraid of many cards here if it's checked through. Does a c/r line make the most from QQ/JJ?

this is fine if we called the pfr. we have to continuation bet here and c/r has huge fold equity so im not sure we make more out of hands we beat leading or c/ring.

I'd agree with all the comments for flop play.. I don't like the preflop raise, though. I think with that raise you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself to bet flop regardless of what arrives.. and subsequently you will be picked off by legitimate hands.

On the other hand, your agression will win you lots of pots that you wouldn't otherwise.

What do others think of pre flop?

Do hands we beat really call a continuation bet? With the remaining stacks, they are almost comitted if they call a decent CB.

I actually think the half pot bet is ok. I'm definitely calling a raise here, and I think it might be small enough for QQ or JJ to stick around, although it's not likely. If villian has AA you are still drawing live. So to sum up, i'd bet 20, and call any raise.

I check for the free card... you have a great hand... and you want to draw to a flush and him to draw to a lower flush.

I'd check and call anything on the flop... reraise would be ok if you think he has the goods (KQ)
