Re: 15/30 QTs SB
Just for my own information here boyz, what hands are we calling with in the sb facing a hijack or later raise?
should I treat it like I would treat completeing in a 3/6 game? |

This is a hand that is near 0EV. Playing it increases your variance. [/ QUOTE ] Playing any hand increases your variance. |

Re: 15/30 QTs SB
I call this from both structures and sometimes 3-bet it. But with the loose player in the BB, I prefer calling. These cards play very well multi-way.

2/3 blind structure with bad player in bb easy call. 1/2 blind structure with unknowns easy fold. [/ QUOTE ] how about 1/2 blind structure with a bad player in the BB? does the difference really swing it from a call to a fold? |

Re: 15/30 QTs SB
Because the BB is very loose and CO is unknown I would call. If I knew the CO and thought I could get heads up with him before the flop and win with a bet if he missed the flop, I would 3-bet.

Re: 15/30 QTs SB
In a 2/3 structure this is an easy call from a CO-steal range. You don't mind the BB coming for the ride either, w/a weak suited broadway gapper.

Re: 15/30 QTs SB
With a very loose BB this is a call. Otherwise the default should usually be raise/fold.

Re: 15/30 QTs SB
whats your stats on the BB?
you could bring it to 3 bets w/ the BB behind you unless you've seen him fold in this situation often. i dont think its really that bad of a move to do seeing hes in the CO. |
