Re: Meep gets trifecta\'d...
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I think the maniac might go to war on each street with a worse King so why not start charging right away? [/ QUOTE ] Sometimes maniac will go to war because he has the case K. Most of the time he doesn't and you're either going to fold him out of the hand or make him slowdown his flush draw. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] 3-bet...flop, bet turn...with 25s that never made anything. [/ QUOTE ] Based on the read, it seems doubtful Villain will slow down on the flop. I'm thinking that by waiting we keep 2 of Villain's SBs from getting into the pot. |

Re: Meep gets trifecta\'d...
Against a 70/40/4...pretty close to a maniac...I can't believe you ever slowed down here. If u lose, u lose. But you're ahead here way more than behind.

Re: Meep gets trifecta\'d...
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] 3-bet the turn, home dizzle. [/ QUOTE ] Why is turn > flop? We don't yet know there will be any turn aggression to play back at, shouldn't we extract from a potential bluff as fast as we can? [/ QUOTE ] Turn > flop because you stand to make more money. You just can't slow down and you certainly aren't slowing him down. Rob |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree, I needed to get the flop capped and work from there. If he check-raises the turn and I get capped there, is calling the river the right play, then? It really just seemed like he was getting tricky -- serious FPS and I was | | close to checking the turn or river through. Perhaps I was psychic, but more likely I was weak tight -- he turns over KTo for the turned nuts. -d |
