Default KK value betting

I've never played with EP before, but he's talking to a regular there and has seemed pretty good and decently aggressive in the few hands he's been at the table.

SB is fishy.

8/16 Live
Folded to EP who raises, I 3-bet from the hijack with black kings, folded to SB who calls, BB folds, EP calls.

3 to the flop for 10SB - A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks, EP bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

3 to the turn for 6.5BB - 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks, EP checks, Hero bets, SB folds, EP calls.

HU on the river for 8.5BB - 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
EP checks, Hero value bets...

I've questioned every postflop street and can think of reasons for several different lines. What do you think?

I like it. Unlikely EP just bets out into Preflop 3-bettor with Aces. No need to worry about protect our hand since a flush draw isn't folding and any other hand has 2 or 3 outs at best.

I also see villain calling with a smaller pocket pair on the river.

The river is definitely a value bet, as far as the rest of the I think you played it optimally as well
