Is 6 max the only thing worth playing

I thought Stars needed to be cleared at 1/2? I have only played off a small portion because I am only taking shots at 1/2.

I saw a post recently regarding datamining at party prior to table selection...I am about to buy PT, but have know idea how datamining works. Anybody know of link to an awesome post about it?
