($22): <5BBs, push over opponent?
I suspect that the Button is a 2+2er, if not he plays like one. Real tight early and has pushed when he should. Ie., I think he could be on pretty much any two here.

No way. Your hand is pretty terrible. And you lose more than half your chips if you lose.

Eh...maybe I'm wrong, but I would fold this every time.

[/ QUOTE ] I thought "duuh.. easy push!" as soon as I read it. You're way ahead of his range, you won't bust out if you lose, and blinds are big. edit: oh and if you fold, it will be very hard for you to finish 3rd, because you're one of the three short stacks. Having the 2+2'ers to your right doesn't help either. If you bust him out there are 4 left, and you have a great shot at the money. |

Re: ($22): <5BBs, push over opponent?
bump. I really think this is an interesting hand that should get more discussion. Plays like this have been working well for me lately, and I believe is something that has improved my game. But, I want to be sure.
