Looks good to me, buddy. Your primary consideration when drawing to a str8 flush vs. a board pair is, "what are my implied odds?" If you're getting 1:20, go for it.

I don't see why you would be a moron in this hand. You made a nice bet on the flop, but be aware that if you are called chances are you are possibly being trapped, and that even if you do pull the straight or flush on the turn it may not be good. In other words, be prepared to fold. Just so happens though that you catch the perfect card on the turn. You weren't the moron - the guy who flopped the nut full house was by not checkraising you on the flop was. If he comes over the top on the flop, you must know you're beat and you'd fold. He won't win that big of a pot, but he also won't get trapped into getting his entire $18.25 in on the turn when he's drawing dead.

In short, i'd probably bet the flop as well, but would freeze up if called. If you do pull the royal, then just HOPE the guy was trying to trap you Enjoy.

EDIT: I originally said "wouldn't be a moron" in my first sentence. That has been changed .

Is betting on this type of flop a standard line for you? I would stray from bluffing too much on paired flops with a flush draw as you are usually going to get trapped far too much at this limit

Every decision after the turn is easy. It is just a matter of making sure that you get maximum value for your unbeatable hand.

Your flop play is the only thing worth discussing. In general, most of your straight flush draws are not going to get there. There is no problem trying to pick up a small pot with a position bluff, but realize that if the villian had check/raised the pot, you would have had to throw your hand away. When you have high card paired flops like these, someone is almost always going to have the nuts and could be trapping. You may be better off taking the free card rather than betting yourself off the draw. If you hit your one miracle out and someone has the nut full on the turn, you are going to get their stack, even if the pot was small going to the turn.

Unless heads up, I wouldn't want to put too many bets out on a paired board despite your monster draw.

Like the previous poster said, it's not bad trying to take a stab in position, but there were so many callers.
