Pacific $30+3 (start with T1,000, blinds go up 50% every 15 hands) Strangely started with 9, though 10 payed so there was a little overlay!
Down to 4: UTG: 2,965 Button: 2,235 SB: 1,676 BB (AliasMrJones): 2,125 Blinds 25/50. AliasMrJones is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, Button limps, SB folds, AliasMrJones raises 200, Button calls. Flop is 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot is 525 AliasMrJones bets 350, Button rases 1,635 all-in Comments on the play so far? What does button have? Call?

Tough spot, huh? Lousy board....
But A5-J5 (people call with junk preflop) are all paying you off here. A4 clearly isn't... There are a whole load of PP's that beat you and don't beat you that button could have... You're getting 1.5:1 if I'm right, but still, this is tough.. Reads would be nice. I call here, but that's probably a leak.

Yeah, sorry about no reads. I was 4-tabling and frankly I tend not to pay as much attention to the Pacific table because the players are so bad.

Since I don't have a real read I expect him to be a bit worse than typical Party $33 player.

nice post...tough decision.
since you're down to four..and HE pushed over the top of you...I'd hem and haw and then fold. YOu prob pick up at least third by folding..and youre probably beat. What could he go all in with that you beat? Brian
