Default Anyone Read This, Old News?

I tried a search but didn't find anything, sorry...don't know if it's been discussed before or not. Found it posted on a large sports car site:

Wow, that's some crazy $hit. I guess it confirmes what many paranoid players have been saying for years. Anyone have any more real-world info?

There are at least 2 other posts about this, and it's just as stupidly overblown as it was the first time.

Default Re: Anyone Read This, Old News? Poker Bot fact?

Maybe there should be some sort of protocol among players at a table to use chat when ever a new player is seated at the table. I'm not sure how this could work, though. Say a new player sits down, and the current players ask for some generic chat information. If the new player doesn't respond, then it would be up to the existing players to safeguard themselves...which would be to leave the table or adjust to playing against a bot.

In a tournament, however, you are stuck where you are.

I'd like to hear exactly what the online poker sites are doing to protect their customers.

gl,
Mike.

Bornert won't say how many customers he has; he'll admit only that he makes a living selling WinHoldEm.

Hmmm. He has these bots that can beat humans and yet he spends his time selling the software for $25 a pop. The is obviously B.S., if it worked that good he would be running those things 24/7 and not selling any. Why would he sell them? It could only hurt his profits.

Well, if he's serious about his "intentional civil disobedience" stance, then he might not really be in it for the money. I know if I had developed a money-making bot and was unscrupulous enough to use it, I wouldn't be selling it.
