Other then the weird free concerts in the park I went to as a kid with my parents (Derrick and the Dominos, 50s stuff). My first concert was Tool and Failure. I'm so [censored] cool. Oh wait, thats the second one. Billy Joel at Nassau Coliseum was the first.

I saw Yes and Deep Purple a couple months apart at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh in 1984 when I was about 14. There was more than smoke on the water (sorry couldnt resist)

Sound Garden - Patriot Center in 93' I think. One of the last concerts before they broke up.

The Cure, but Red Hot Chili Peppers and X opened.
X was great, and Red Hot Chili Peppers came out in nothing but sox on there jocks. I would go see the opening acts anytime, Cure, I would pass on. |
