Predictions can be difficult to make concerning humans. I would venture to say however that the time may come when humans will have more control over their own evolution - in some sense this may be inevitable with our increase in knowledge via science. A self made feed back loop will be set in motion (it is perhaps already started) once enough is know about the chemical/physical evolutionary processes that drive us.
Intelligence and human demographics is not something I know much about. I will defer that to others. -Zeno
