Default reasonable hands/hour at B&M

just curious as i'm doing some variance modelling... what's a reasonable # or range for hands/hour at a bricks and morter casino???? is 20-35 a reasonable range??? assuming 5-10 limit loose-passive.

I would say 35 is about average

deetle, thanks... i was thinking 35 was high (although was on high end of my range....

i think i just need to be alot more observent when i play at bricks and mortar. just time it between BB's.

i need to be more observent in general.

Depends. If you have dopes calling time pre-flop, then your H/HR is going to be very low, certainly under 30 for a full table and probably not quite 25. About 35 is ideal for nine-handed action, but I'm not sure it's something to count on.

Of course, that increases with fewer players.

I asked this question some time ago and it was brought out that auto shufflers tend to speed up play. Don't see that mentioned in this thread. Maybe that helps? or not.

no shuffler = 25-30 an hour

shuffler = 35-40 an hour

one of these days, i will go and get a real count.

appreciate the help everyone.... i did search, but the search function on this site is unwieldy. even tried to advance google search it but to no avail.

yeah, i play at auto-shuffle and NON, and it sure helps.

Jesus I dunno where these #'s come from. I have dealt as many as 27 in a very fast paced HE game....IN 1/2 HR!!
HAND SHUFFLED.

Truer numbers from my experience suggest 40+. But, as has been mentioned, lineup as well as dealer makes a difference.

Those numbers are about right for a limit hold'em game.
No limit is about 25-30.
Omaha can be as low as 15 and as high as 25.
