Does anyone play with a touchscreen?
I am quite interested in this as I am becoming bored with my 2001 fps. If you play with touch-screen, can you tell a little bit about it? maybe the pros and cons of it? Thanks in advance.

id expect your arms would get rather tired. unless you put the monitors below you with teh screen facing the ceiling. interesting idea.

I actually have one of these sitting around that I've been meaning to hook up and try...just haven't gotten to it yet.

Well, if you think about it, I'd love to hear how it works.

Re: Does anyone play with a touchscreen?
I'd be willing to try this if I could find a [censored] touchscreen anywhere.

[/ QUOTE ] As posted before me, your arms will get tired from using this. I tried using voice control, but that isn't reliable enough. At least using the free tools available - perhaps Dragon or whatever can do it. I settled on using my GamePad controller with AutoHotKey scripts to control the mouse movement. I can now lounge back, and use one of my 8 buttons to control the play: I have one button for switching windows (I have auto-popup disabled in the client); One each for fold, check/call or bet/raise; One each for nh, lol and tyvm. I'm using a wacom tablet as a mouse. It's the A4 size which is pretty big. So I move my hand as mucch as when you use a touch screen. Try it out, it's quite funny when you use it for the first time. When you're bored try your left hand. That's even funnier. www.wacom.com |

Re: Does anyone play with a touchscreen?
I don't play with a touchscreen, but I do know where to get one. Elotouch is one of the largest manufacturers. Below is their link.
http://www.elotouch.com/ If you already have a nice large display, you can purchase just the touch sensor and integrate it into your monitor yourself. It isn't that difficult. -Shaggy |
