Default 1/2 NL

Hero has ~$220 (Friend of mine-- not me)

EP Raises 10
Hero calls with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Everyone eles folds.
Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
EP Checks
Hero bets $25
EP Calls
Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
EP Checks
Hero bets $50
EP Calls
River: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
EP Bets $100
Pot now $273

Friend says that one play is correct, I disagree. Which is the correct play in this situation?

Well I don't like betting the turn, I don't see the point, and I call the river

edit: or raise the river that extra $30 or whatever, I dunno

Just call.

It is almost inconceivable EP played AK this poorly, unless it was AhKh.
And K9 is not in his range.

But don't raise because EP will only call if you're spliting or if he has you beat.

I thought it was $50.
You're right, it's less.
So fine, push.

Unless hero knows something unique about villain, this a fold preflop. He did call though, and got a great flop for his hand, he bet just like he should've. After villain calls hero must ask himself what villain would check call the flop with after raising preflop. I think the most likely candidate is a set or JJ, as such hero should take a card in order to avoid a meaty check raise.

If he does bet, he needs to pot it. The 50 dollar bet doesn't make any sense. Is he value betting? Is he trying to push villain off of a better hand? The river is a call IMO. Villain has been check calling all the way and suddenly goes gay for that J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. There is an obvious one card straight out on the board, I think villain only calls a raise with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

edit: Haha, yea, put the extra 37 cents in or whatever.
