i dont think u can beat anything but a bluff on the river that calls the flop re-raise.

Can someone explain why you don't bet the turn here?

you induced a bluff / weak value bet with the turn check (which was correct imo) and then folded to a very small bet on the river. i think that is at least questionable. the chance that he bets for a bluff or for value with a pocket pair appears to be at least 25% (which justifies a call).

Blah. Against the 1/2 opponents, at least, I'm usually just folding the flop. Sure it makes it really easy to bluff you out here. But, given your hand, you really are easy to bluff out here. Basically, YOU'RE bluffing on the flop. And bluffing doesn't work very well at SSNL. I'd either lay down or call and see what happens on the turn. I think the chances that you're behind are so high that it really doesn't pay to invest in a flop raise here.

Edit: After reading the thread, I now see that villain is a moron. Worst possible way to run a bluff. He should 3-bet the flop, or at least bet pot on the river. He's getting looked up by a K here 99% of the time.
