Default A8s hand against a weak-tighty

Villain is like 13/2. he's only raising AA-QQ

I have about $1.2K he has a full buy-in of around $400.

$2/$4

Folds to Villain who makes it $12. Folds to me, I call in the BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Flop $26 - 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I check, Villain checks

Turn $26 - 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet $25, Villain minraises to $50, I push

I don't like the turn push. What hands call you that you beat?

If he's not raising AK, then bet the flop and don't stop until the money is in the middle (usually he will put it in, but you might have to).

He has the effective nuts right now. AA, KK and QQ are what we are hoping will call.

6-max or full?

In either case, villain must be both a rock and an idiot for this push to have positive expectation.

Overpairs, which is what the weak-tight raiser is representing. The big question here is the guy a weak tight that cant get away from his overpairs. Most cant in my experience. I think its a good push.
