Reraise... I don't understand why you'd flat call/fold with K-K. Are you honestly going to put him on A-A with a min raise in the one hole, in a 6 handed game? You have a great oppourtunity to cripple your main competition.

Re-raise...No brainer.

Pop it good. As the other big stack at the table you are the last person he wants to tangle with. With KK I would send a message to the other big stack saying I think your at a disadvantage here, kindly go away. If he has AA or hits an A on an AK all in thats poker.

If one of the shorter stacks made this move I might try getting cute with just a call or a small reraise to try to draw all of there chips into the pot.

Reraise to $2400 or $2000 even, either way you want a call here and should welcome an all-in.

Reraise to 2400, and call a push.

Interestingly enough, read the beginning of TPFAP, there is some application here that you seem to be searching for. I believe its under "Your broke, You're done."

There is no way you can lay down KK preflop like this, especially at this low of a buyin.

Running into AA suck eh?

i think the OP is asking if he should slow play this or not. i might slow play a non ace flop, but preflop i'm popping it to 2400.

I pushed all-in ...

He called with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ...

and caught a Q on the river.

Consensus I'm seeing is re-raise but not push, instead.

If he caught a Q on the river, you won the hand and should post instead of

You should make a substantial reraise (rather than push) because you want him to call (incorrectly) with a hand like AQ, against which you are a big favorite. Even thinking of folding KK in this situation is a poker crime.
