Dear Party is Rigged Dude,

Last week I was 2nd in chips in one of the Supers with 22 left.

I get moved to the table with the chip leader, yep the only guy who can bust me, but wait I get dealt KK on my first hand at the new table.

We get all-in preflop with some action that went raise, raise, and raise. Turns out he has AA and I am gone. Rigged.

I thought, I will never play at Party again.

Then I remembered that I have pulled more than 250k from that site in the last 15 months.

Somehow I struggle on.

Trying to help,

Caldarooni

FYP. (At least for me. )

Seriously, though, how often can a 15:1 shot hit? It can't be more than...um...

The WSOP is rigged too.

What are the chances Farha calling Hudsons raise with AT and them both flopping full houses?

How about Harman getting knocked out of the tournament with Queens full when the other guy hit the miracle straight flush...

That's just ridiculous, that stuff should never happen...

Thanks for the intelligent responses, deadbeats. I'll try elsewhere.

If you want intelligent answers, ask an intelligent question. I will explain.

The guy was simply a moron. There's nothing about the hand that suggests Party is rigged. It's not an "action hand" at all. To make it an action hand, you would give the guy TT or QQ. Or you would give him his king on the flop. Something to create action. The guy had a nothing hand, and tried a failed bluff on you, figuring you for scared money and missing the flop with your likely AKo, and rivered his one live overcard on the river to bail him out.

He's a moron when it comes to poker.

You're a bigger moron for believing what you actually do.

You _DO_ realize that those times your opponent DOESN'T hit his 1/15 shot that you don't see his hand -- he mucks it. Right?

Bad plays pay your way in poker if you can not go on tilt.

There have been a few independent (ie by people like you and me) statistical reviews of Party flops and boards and they all meet normal distribution.

It's amazing how ppl think 1/15 means NEVER, when really, it means there is a chance you'll see it that hand. Cards dont run by the odds, the odds are what we use to see is it worth a call. He obviously didnt know his odds, and therefore made an incorrect call. But that 1 time showed up for him luckily, but the next 14 times he wont be so lucky (but the cards dont follow odds, so dont go all in )
