i've been playing omaha for roughly 4000 hands or so. and i just got dealt AK AK double suited and AJ A10 double suited in a session this afternoon [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img], i thought this was a pretty rare occurance and therefore deserving of a thread...

An excellent reminder that in the majority of cases, the real "strength" of an Omaha hand is determined on the flop.

I was once dealt AAKKds (twice) and AAKKss (once) in a stretch of 50 hands. 1 set, 1 flush, 1 post-flop muck.
