Heads Up Against Nobody.
If I am in a 100 heads up on pokerstars, and my opponent gets disconnected and is sitting out and auto folding, should I have a moral qualm over taking his 100 dollars? Would anyone say its wrong to not sit out also at least for a few minutes to give him a chance? Or am I being a jerk even bringing this question up?

sucks to be him..
If you're almost positive he'd wait for you, then I'd wait for him. |

Re: Heads Up Against Nobody.
Yeah, I'd say it's wrong not to sit out. You are having a heads-up match for God's sake; this isn't the time to win on a technicality.

Personally, I would have sat out.

In a heads up match I believe it's correct to wait.

Re: Heads Up Against Nobody.
What about sitting out for a designated period of time, such as one level of play?

Re: Heads Up Against Nobody.
My sense is that you didn't so I'll absolve you of your guilt. How long can you realistically wait? I'd give him 5 minutes..

[/ QUOTE ] No, the situation never came to be, He got disconnected and used up about 100 seconds of his 120 seconds that he had to come back. While I was waiting I was wondering what I'd do if he never returned. |
